Hexagon Metrology, Inc. operates a unified network of service centersthroughout the world providing our customers prompt repair,certification and calibration services, relocation of your CMM, andpreventive maintenance.  We provide complete coordinate measuring machine repair, calibration and certification services on Brown & Sharpe, Sheffield, Leitz, DEA, and Starrett brand machines.  We also offer calibration of our Leica Trackers and ROMER arms in our US-based service centers.  

Our service organization and technicians are ISO 9000 and 17025accredited guaranteeing our procedures are above the industrystandard.  Our calibration equipment is fully certified and traceable; guaranteeing the highest confidence in the precision of our customers’ CMMs.  Ourservice staff is dedicated to helping our customers maximize theproductivity of their CMMs.

Our services include, but are not limited to:

• Installations: Machine installations may be performed whether the machine is purchased from the OEM or obtained from an outside party.
• On-Site: On-Site repairs include adjustments, CMM remapping, and part repairs.  Part repairs may be performed based on the need to order parts and obtain additional test equipment.
• Preventive Maintenance: Preventative Maintenance is performed to ensure your machine is clean and operating as it should be.
• Relocation Services: Relocation Services include properly packing up and reinstalling your CMM.  Hexagon cannot ensure protection from damage during transportation.
• Service Contracts: Service Contracts are available to our customers.  Please contact your Regional Service Manager for more details.
• Training Classes: Call our Training Coordinator at (248) 449-9450 for more information on these classes, or refer to the Tech Support & Training link on our web site to register online.
• Upgrades: Upgrade your CMM to ensure you are up-to-date with software and hardware.  Let our experts give you information to decide the best route to take and our experienced Field Service Engineers will install your upgrade.
